Nursery care isprovided for all children birth through two years old. Care is availableduring all regularly scheduled services. Each baby or child that enters our church is a blessing from the Lord. It is our desire to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your child. When you bring your child to the nursery, we would ask that you give a report to one of the caregivers. Please mark your child’s bag so that the caregivers can identify it. “Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

St. ThomasAssembly of God Drama and Fine Arts Ministries The Drama Ministry involves many different people of all age groups within our church family. Our church believes that drama is a valuable and effective tool for ministry and outreach. We perform two full-length plays/musicals per year:one at Christmas and one at Easter. We also periodically perform smaller skits and sketches as sermon illustrations or for special themed services. Our purpose is to portray biblical views and events in a way that will help the audience experience God’s love in a new and real way through the emotions that music, drama, and art invoke. The Fine Arts Ministry is a youth oriented program designed to help youth ingrades 7-12 discover, cultivate, and use their God-given talents for ministry and service. It is sponsored by the National Assemblies of God and incorporates three levels of competition: Sectionals, Districts, and Nationals. Youth can participate and compete in over 30 different solo and group categories ranging from drama, writing, and music to photography, graphic design, and sermon presentation. Scholarships to many A/G colleges are awarded at the district and national levels. The Youth Fine Arts Team also performs and ministers in many church events and outreaches, as well as publicevents. Becky Knoll hasbeen in involved in drama and creative arts for more than 20 years and hastaken several drama, writing and art courses and attended numerous conferencesand seminars. Although drama is not her profession, she feels it is her divinepurpose to encourage, motivate, and inspire people to recognize the gifts andtalents God has blessed them with and then fulfill His purpose for those giftsthrough ministry and service.
St Thomas A/G Kidz Thang We aim to raise up R.E.A.L.kidz: Radically Empowered AndLiving for Jesus!! Theme verse: 1 Timothy 4:12 “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young,but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” What is Kidz Thang? Kidz Thang is St Thomas Assembly of God”sChildren’s Ministry program. It is designed to simulate the adult Sunday morning service in a kid friendly atmosphere. Kids learn Biblical principles through active learning experiences and games. We use crafts, snacks, music, puppets, drama, and videos to bring the lesson to life and hands-on activities to make the lesson relevant to children’s lives. We also encourage our children to use their talents and to be involved in ministries/service. This includes service to our church, surrounding communities, and missions. Who is Kidz Thang? We are a team-based ministry; people who are committed to partnering with parents in showing God’s love to children so that they will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior, grow in their knowledge of Him, and become equipped to share what they have learned with others. We utilize parents, youth, and volunteers to assist with our work in our children’s ministries. Where & When is KidzThang? Kidz Thang is held on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. It is held in the lower level, below the church sanctuary. The Assembly of God’s kids missions program is BGMC (Boys& Girls Missionary Crusade). We encourage learning about different cultures and a sensitivity to mission work both at home and abroad. The last Sunday of each month is designated BGMC Sunday.

The Missionettes include six clubs:
Missionettes meet 45 - 48 Wednesday evenings eachyear 7:00 PM to 8:25 PM. The meetings contain an assortment of Bible Study,crafts, achievement programs and other associated activities. In addition to the Wednesday evening meetings, the girls meet with other churches from the section or district for retreats and other activities.
Royal Rangers Royal Rangers is a ministry to boys founded in 1962 by theAssemblies of God. Royal Rangers promotes a good, wholesome setting in which young men are afforded the opportunity to learn sound Christian morals and ethical values which prepare them to serve God, their church, community and country. The boys are divided into four groups determined by school grade and meet 45 to48 Wednesday evenings each year from 7:00 PM to 8:25 PM. The meetings containan assortment of Bible Study, crafts, advancement requirement classes and other associated activities. In addition to the Wednesday evening meetings, the boys meet with other churches from the Section or District for camp outs, hikes,advanced training and other activities. 2nd & 4th SundayEvenings Each Month Our small groups offer the opportunity for discipleship, fellowship and evangelism in an atmosphere that allows forbuilding and strengthening relationships among the church body. The smallgroups generally meet in various homes with each group planning their ownmeeting. Each group has a study guide for discussion. Women's Ministry Women of Purpose Ladies of All Ages 1st Wednesday of Each Month Women of Purpose (formerly known as WM’s) is an organization of women whose purpose is to provide united prayer and practical support to the Assembly’s five areas of ministry: home and foreign missions, benevolence, district and local church ministries. The women involved find fulfillment through fellowship, spiritual enrichment and the opportunity to reach out to others and guide them to the Savior.
